MISCELLANEOUS PROGRAMME. The Classic Club held its fourteenth meeting of the season in the rooms of the Overseas League this week, when a miscellaneous programme was presented. Members who contributed items were: Miss Mavis Beadle, who sang "O Whither Art Roaming" (Cesti), "To be Near the Fair Idol" (Salvatore Rosa), "To a Nightingale," "My Heart is in Bloom" (Brahms); Mis« Lillian Kennedy, who sang "Eriskay Love-lilt," "Land of Heart's Desire," "Road to the Isles" (Kennedy - Fraser), "Plaisir d'Amour" (Martini), "Se tu m'Ami" (Pergolesi); Miss Kay Christie, who rendered "O Love, from Thv Power" (SaintSaens), "Lament of Inis," "Invocation to the Nile" (Bantock); Mr. Henry Donaldson, who contributed "Four American Indian Songs" (C'adman), ' La Reve des Grieux," "O Souverain, O Juge, O Pere" (Massenet); Mr. James Ranisay, who sang "To be Sung on the Waters," "Litany," "Stormy Morning" (Schubert), "Four by the Clock" (Mallinson), "In Summer Time on Bredon" (Peel), "Five Eves" (A. Gibbs). Pianoforte soloa were rendered by Miss Pearl George, who played "Dearest Jesu," "Largo from Concerto in F Minor," "Mortify Us by Thy Grace" (Bach), "Gesang der Glocken" (Dushkin), "Chanson Albanaise" (Slavenski), "Traumerei" (Strauss), and Miss Freda Crook, who played "Basso Ostinato," "Etude in F Sharp Major" (Arensky), "Nocturne in G. Minor," "Valise in C Sharp Minor" (Chopin).
