The niaikets were active on call this morning, and with free dealings in Woolworths (N.X., ord.) and in Urokon Hill Proprietaries the sales represented a bin cash turnover. lirokcn Hill Proprietaries were fractionally easier, but after business at a drop of 2d,'to £1 10/4, for the lights, further buyers quoted that ligiire anil sillers were Id away. Dunlops moved up sharply to £1 2/10, and Taranaki Oilfields recovered to 6/7. ■!- The chain store groupj#as an exception. Woolvvortlis ("South .A'friciO were very film, and Woolwoitlis {.N.Z;, ord.J gained 1/ in sales of 300- shares at- £5 4/. G. .1. Coles moved up 3d, and buyers of MiKenxies were stronger at £4 8,3, and sellers £4 111/. Metal issues remained quiet. Mount Morgans eased to 11. li and Klcctrolytic Zincs dropped (id. North Broken Hills sold 18 down, at £2 14 !>. Mount I.veils and Broken Hill Souths had no dealings. Among the hanks there were lew changes.
