ISSUE OF SHARES.
MCKENZIE'S DEPARTMENT STORES. TRADING PROFITS MAINTAINED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. McKenzie's Department Stores report that trading profits were more 'than maintained for the first half of the year. They recommend an interim dividend of 9 per cent for the half-year, and state that no difficulty will be experienced in maintaining this rate on the proposed increased' issue of capital. The new stores at Strat-. ford, Kotorua and Ashburton wilL be operating before the end of this month. The 'directors, propose to issue the present unallotted capital of 100.000 shares, to sharehplders at a premium of 10/ each. "
