TWO SPECIAL TROPHIES.
PRESENTATION TO-MORROW.
Prominent Auckland Rugby League supporters have donated trophies for two senior players who have fine records as point-getters during the season just closing,
It is announced that Mr. Cyril Snedden, who resigned early this year after 10 years in office as president of the Xew Zealand Rugby League, has. given a special trophy for the Marist and Auckland forward, J. Anderson who registered a total of 148 points in tries and goals; while Mr. E. Bennet, of Takapuna, has. presented a special trophy for J. Smith, the North Shore centre three-quarter, whose tally, in spite of having missed three* dub matches, i s 132 points. Both players are lirst-class goal-kickers.
The trophies are to be presented bv the chairman of the Auckland League, Mr. (J. Grey Campbell, during the aala at Carlaw Park to-morrow.
