PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
MODERATOR-GENERAL ON TOUR. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. The Rev. T. H. Roseveare, 8.D., Aloderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, paid an official visit to St. James' Church, Thames, last evening during the course of a trip through the Waikato presbytery. He was welcomed at a soiree, which was well attended. Later a service was conducted, at which Air. Rosevcare spoke on "The Presbyterian Church—what it is, what it does, what it believes."
This is the first occasion for many years that a Moderator has visited the Thames. To-day Mr. Koseveare left for Coromandel.
