Tlie "News-Chronicle" says:—"Unless there be a vast improvement in their play the Australians' 1937 tour will 2O down in history as the most disactrous." The "Yorkshire Observer" states-—"The Australians showed either that they have not found their true form or that they are a long way below the standard of former sides. Results of the five games played since the Kangaroos departed from Auckland on August 14:— September 19.—Beat Leigh, 11—9 September 22.—Beat York, 15—6 : September 26.—Beat Newcastle, 37—0 September 29.—Lost to Lancashire, 5—7 October 2.—Lost to Halifax, 2—12. The remaining fixtures for this month are: -^- o , ct^ b ? r 6 ' v - Yorkshire; October 9, v. Wakefield; October 13, v. Ro-hdale-October 16, first Test (at Leeds); October 20, v. Widnes; October 23, v. Hull; October 27, v. Bradford; October 30, v Salford. The second Test is set down for decision at Swinton on November 13, and the third at Huddersfield on December 18.
