CARGO FOR JAPAN.
NEXT VESSEL MAT LOAD.
When the Yamashita Kisen Kaisha steamer Chifuku Maru sailed from Auckland on Saturday for southern ports more than 250 tons of her cargo wae left behind. This included 170 tone of ship plate ecrap iron, 76 tons of tallow (34 ton* of which had been transhipped from Napier) and 25 caeke of hides.
Since the announcement yesterday that deliberations between the Prime Minister and the Federation of Labour had resulted, in an assurance that the ordinary channels of trade would remain open, it is anticipated that the cargo will be shipped by the next Japaneee vessel calling here. She will be the new motor ship Kozan Mam, which ie •scheduled to reach Auckland from Japaneee ports, via New Caledonia, on October 19.
