THE HIGHEST ORDER.
FOR ITALIAN GENERAL. (Received 1.30 p.m.) ROME, October 3. Marshal de Bono, who opened the Italian campaign against Abyssinia in 1935, has been awarded the collar of the Order of Annunziata, the highest decoration in Italy, which entitles its holder to be known as a "cousin of the King."
