The Chinese air force i« inferior in numbers of aeroplanes to Japan'*, but the Chinese are much better aviator*. It must be realised that China can still build up her air forces with machines from overseas. In Spain the same sort of thing- happened. For a while the rebel air force was definitely superior in numbers. Then the Loyalists began to receive large numltcra of no>t only aeroplanes, but aviators from abroad, tlio aeroplanes, incidentally, being better machines than those belonging to the rebel*. The result in that the rival air forces of Spain are now about evenly matched as far as tlie number of 'planes is concerned, with Loyalist aviators probably the better fighters. What happened in Spain may possibly happen in China.
