ADDITIONAL GIFTS. Although these gifts arrived at Sonshine House after the close of our Winter Sunshine Campaign, they are nevertheless very welcome, and will give much pleasure and comfort to the recipients: St. Aidan's Brownies (77 patches, parcel of beautiful baby clothes), Cosy Club (1 red knitted pu'll-over, 63 patches sewn together, embroidered material centre 103 points, girls), P. Jougblin, Mount Eden Road (6 knitted patches joined together, strip of knit:ing, 1 knitted singlet, small collection of children's winceyette garments), "Muriel," Pukekohe (48 knitted patches), no name (6 large strips of knitting sewn together).

"What's all this ? Betty sleep-walking Robin?" Dad. stepping carefully reached the spot where the little girl stood. "Why!" he said, staring, "but what is happening to the bog? Last time I tried it was a regular quagmire. And now "

"Betty's been bothering about her Bogy, dad —you know, what she calls the will o' the wisp!" exclaimed Robin. "She hasn't seen him lately, and she thought he was ill." "No will o' the wisp!"—dad was thinking hard—"A will o' the wisp means dampness," said he; "and if, after the very hot summer that we've had, the bog is drying up -. Yes, I've heard of such things in other parts of the country. But our bog "Oh, dad!" cried Robin, "if our bog has dried up, why, you can dig for the lost treasure, and it will be yours!" To cut a long story short, that is what they did, dad and the farmhands. And the treasure was found. A splendid hoard, too. But, as dad says, it would be lying there still, probably, if Bettv hadn't gone to pay a midnight visit to the Bogy who was ill.
