STEEL FROM AUSTRALIA.
HO SHORTAGE IN BONEDIH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. There is no duplication here of the reported difficulty in Christchurch of getting steel. English orders are fulfilled, though slowly, but English steel at anv rate is not attracting the attention either of importers or contractors, because the price is much higher than Australian, which to all intents and purposes is as good. importer stated that, while special millings might involve delay, standard millings were obtainable almost as required.
