NATIONAL PARTY.
THE REMUERA BRANCH. An enjoyable bridge afternoon was held this week by the Reuiuera women's branch of the National party in the Tudor Lounge, Remuera. The guests were received by Miss P. H. King, president, and Mrs. W. P. Endean. Other members of the committee present were: Mrs. Burt, Mrs. Curtis, Mrs. Gillies Martin, Mrs. Errol Hay, Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Allison, Mr*. J. B. Paterson, Mrs. Butterworth, Mrs, Russell and Miss Henderson.
In presenting the prizes, which were won by Mrs. Tonks and Mrs. Cording, and were donated by Miss P. H. King and Mrs. Gillies Martin, Miss King said that it was the intention of the Remuera branch to hold these functions regularly, to give members an opportunity of meeting one another.

Grundy, Alpe, Friedlander, Quigley, King, H. Bayly, G. E. Hill, Lawrence, Tribe, C. S. Geen, T. J. Fleming, S. A. Robertson, M. Hutchison, A. Qtiaife, Dr. J. Maddison, Misses Dalton, Dinneen, E. Brown, Garner, McLaughlin, Sutton and Kenderdine.
