WAITANGI SHIELD.
NORTH AUCKLAND V. AUCKLAND. ' MATCH BETWEEN MAORIS. "Matches for the Waitangi Shield are always keenly contested by the various Maori teams which are engaged in them, and to-morrow's game at Carlaw Park between Auckland and North Auckland should prove no exception to the rule. A good crowd ie expected to assemble at League headquarters for the game, which is scheduled to start at 3.30 p.m. Both teams are well-balanced, although several prominent Aucklanders are not available, and the issue should be in doubt till the end. The teams are as follows: — North Auckland.—D. Paki, G. Mackie R. Lewie. T. Toki, A. Rata, W. Flesher S. Pitman, W. Rata. L. King, L. Pirihi H. Pirihi, R. Kepa, R. Paki, C. Joab, D Mackie and W. Paki. Auckland (Tamaki).—T. Chase, Bluett Tawhai, Wilson, Broughton, Rata Mahima, Proctor, Broderick, Raymond Tristan, Coo tee, McLeod, Mataira.
