LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
LOWER GRADE WINNERS. The junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby League last evening declared Papakurii winners of tne senior B championship and Richmond winners of the fourth grade. Congratulations were extended to both teams. An application by I'apakura for permission to compete for the itoope ltooster was referred to the senior board. A knock-out contest was decided upon as the next competition for the senior B grade. The Mount Albert third grade team played a scoreless draw in its match at Portland and the Northland team Is to play tlie return match at Morningside on Saturday week. Permission to travel to Ngaruawahia, Pukemiro and Frank ton was granted respectively to the Ellerslie and North Shore fourth grades and to the Ponsouby fourth and seventh grade teams.
