TAMAKI ORPHANS.

The fourth sessional night of the Tamaki Orphans' Club was held last night, VicePresident Bro. R. Harris presiding. The official visitors were President Bro. Clarrie Grange and the executives of the Thames and Paeroa Orphans' Clubs, who were rewarded for their long journey by an excellent programme. Among other visitors were Secretary Bro. Stan. Clarke, Vice-President Charlie Brookes, the Canadian Trade Commissioner, Mr. Bull, and Mr. Bowers. The artists who assisted in making the evening such a success were the Lyric Quartet (Messrs. Frank Campbell, Alan McElwain. Ernie Thomas and Arthur Ripley), Douglas Stark, Tex Doyle, Rex Yates, Ernest Snell and Rayment. The club orchestra, under the baton of Bro. Frank Poore, gave several excellent items.
