DELEGATES ENTERTAINED.

A LUNCHEON AND TEA. In honour of Dr. Georgina Sweet, honorary president of the Women's PanPacific Association, a luncheon was given by the Auckland group of the association at the Lyceum Club yesterday. After discussing some of the features of the conference Dr. Sweet told her hearers that Miss Mary Bollert had been elected president of the association, and Miss Alice Keelingside, secretary. Those present at the- luncheon included: Miss Ellen Melville. Miss Elsie Griffin, Mrs. A. D. Campbell, Mrs. J. C. Gulliver, Miss L. V. Langsford, Miss Alice Basten, Miss Ella Fair, Mrs. H. Page, Mrs. J. T. F. Mitchell, Miss M. Slingsby Newman, Miss Tuthill, Miss E. Jphnston, Miss Alice Greville, Miss B. Lorimer, Miss 0. Foster, Miss Lea. A tea" held last evening by the Y.W.C.A. enabled business girls and women to meet Dr.' Sweet and Mies M. E. Barrer, of Masterton, who also was a delegate to the conference. The guests were welcomed by Mrs. M. Rudd, the Auckland president, who presented Dr. Sweet with a bouquet of violets and primroses. In a brief speech, Miss Barrer referred to the wonderful way in which those at the conference had worked socially. Dr. Sweet spoke on the achievementsof the conference.
