NATIVE TEAM CHOSEN. GEORGE XEPIA TO PLAY. The Australian Rugby League team's next match' will be with the New Zealand Maori representatives at Carlaw Park next Wednesday. The selectors, the Rev. X. Panapa and Messrs. E. Asher and J. Rukutai, will chose the Maori thirteen from the following:— Full-back: G. Nepia. Three-quarters: J. Hemi, W. Broughton, R. Chase, J. Rata, R. Wilson (two to be omitted).

I Withua view to the selection of the team to represent New Zealand against the visitor* in the second -Test next Saturday, the New Zealand selectors have announced the names -of eleven players, who are requested, to report for training at the Auckland gymnasium this evening. The names of Maori players who are likely to appear in the Test side have not been mentioned, as the selectors wish to view the form of the players who will, represent the Maoris against the Kangaroos on Wednesday.
