RUGBY LEAGUE.

TO-MORROW'S GAMES.

LEADING TEAMS MEET. RICHMOND AND MANUKAU. The meeting of Richmond and Manukau, a match which will jiave a definite bearing on the championship, will be the-principal attraction at Carlaw Park to-morrow, and the fixture has aroused great interest. Richmond, who are the leaders in the championship, defeated Manukau by a close margin when they met earlier in" the season, but since then the latter have been strengthened, and in recent matches have been playing outstanding football. In the recent trial match the Richmond nve-eighths, Bickerton and W. Tittleton were opposed to the Manukau pair, R. Lhase and T. Chase, and thus the play of the inside backs will be watched with close interest in view of the New Zealand team to be chosen to meet the touring Australians. The curtain-raiser match will be between 1 onsonby and Mount Albert, two of the other leading teams in the competition, and a very close match is anticipated in view of the forward strength of both teams. City have been drawn to meet Marist, and on recent play it should be another close contest. North Shore will meet Newton, and although the former are expected to win, the latter have shown of late that they are a greatly improved side. Teams are as follows: — MARIST OLD BOYS.
