APPEAL UPHELD.
SIXTH GRADE GAME REPLAY.
A-decision to replay the sixth grade match between City and Green Lane, in which it was alleged that a line umpire raised his flag and thereby contributed to the scoring of a winning try by causing the defending side to halt' action, was reached by the junior munageineiit of the Auckland Rugby League last evening. The Green Lane appeal had been referred back by the senior board.
The application of One Tree Point Club (Northland) to play in Auckland was referred to R.V. Club, and the Papakura Club was granted permission to invite a Hikurangi team to play in Auckland at an early date. Matches to be replayed are: Richmond and Otah'uhu fifths. Mount Albert and Papakura fifths, and Richmond and Papakura thirds. Arising from recent trouble in controlling crowds at suburban and city grounds, the chairman was .authorised to obtain special arm-bands for board members with authority to assist referees and -club officials. ' , , A request for teams to visit Frankton was deferred. Transfers.—R. S. Pyke, Papakura senior B t(> R.V.; F. N. Snilgar, Ponsonby fourths to R.V. thirds; G. Berryman, City sixths to Green Lane.
