CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE.
MOTOR CAR ON FIRE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) WAIHI. Monday. Considerable damage was caused by an outbreak of fire to a sedan motor car in Waitewheta Road on Saturday evening, when the owner. Mr. G. Jackson. a hotelkeeper. late of Bulls, was seeking aid from the Waikino garage. When he and the garage assistant returned t<» the scene of the breakdown they found the car enveloped in flames and could do nothing to extinguish the outbreak. The engine was practically undamaged.
