MINISTER'S HEALTH TRIP.
MR. SEMPLE FOR AUSTRALIA.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Sempie, who leaves on Thursday for Sydney, said to-night h» wished to thank hie colleagues and Cabinet for giving him leave of absence for a few weeks so that his health might be restored. After having a rest he intended investigating several mattera in Australia directly affecting his Departments, among them irrigation developments, the question of electricity generation and supply, and the transport system. He was leaving; he said, with the knowledge that everything was going well in his Department. Everything was now 100 per cent efficient on Public Works jobs. There was much to be done in transport organisation, but it was now much better than, p'-eviously.
