ENGLISH PSYCHOLOGIST.
ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND. "People are eeekinjr something, and they don't know what it is," said Dr. V. Polisa, who arrived in Auckland from Sydney this morning by the Maunganui. "They are looking for something that will give them a greater sense of happiness, and a better attitude to life." Dr. Poliss is an English woman, holding a degree from the London University.
"I find that an understanding of psychology makes a great difference to most people's lives," e.he said. "More knowledge of themselves gives them a new outlook. Lives are often warped and twisted by unfortunate experiences in childhood, and when people are taught to bring to light their old hurts, they find they have disappeared, and that they are free of them." Dr. Poliss has just completed a trip through Queensland, coining down the coast through the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. She prefers Australia and Xew Zealand to the old world, and is looking forward to her stay in this country.
