GATHERING OF SPORTSMEN
CAMBRIDGE GAME DHTHER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, this day. A dinner arranged by the Cambridge Acclimatisation Society, in conjunction with the Cambridge Gun Club, on Saturday night, was attended by 160 representatives of the Cambridge and neighbouring kindred organisations, and the Mayor of Cambridge, Mr. C. H. Priestley. Mr. A. Hill presided. After dinner a toast to the Auckland Acclimatisation Societv was proposed oy Mr. R. Coulter. MP. "for Waikato. In replying the president of the society, Mr. F. E. McKenzie, congratulated the organisers on their decision to make the dinner an annual one. The event, he said, would prove helpful among sportsmen in arranging and organising their sport.
