Copland, dean of the faculty of commerce in the University of Melbourne, has been invited to acoeja a visiting professorship of economics at the University of Minnesota, one of the leading State universities in the United States. The invitation is for the period from September, 1938, to March, 1033, and the council of Melbourne University has approved of its acceptance. Professor Copland was present at the Harvard tercentenary celebrations last year, and has been invited to visit Japan.
