WILL LAST FEW DAYS.
BUS AND TRANSPORT STOCKS.
As the proprietor* held fairly large stocks of petrol and fuel oil, bus and transport services were expected this morning to run normally for the next few days if the dispute continued. The proprietor of one of the largest suburban services stated that although he had had no warning of the threat of a shortage he had enough petrol and crude oil in stock on which to maintain a full service until about Tuesday. Another bus company, serving the outer suburbs, had ample in stock to last until Wednesday or Thursday. Hopes are held for an early settlement before the position threatens discontinuation of these public services. «
