THE FISHING FLEET.
CRUDE OIX REQUIREMENTS
The fact that the seins-net fishing boots use crude ol: for their engines lias raised a difficulty in connection with Auckland's fish supply, although the effect so far has not been very serious. A number of the boats are at sea, and there should be regular supplies of fish during the early part of next week. The large trawlers use coal for fuel, and are not affected. The commercial launches plying on the harbour v/hich use crude oil are likely to be quickly affected by the cessation of supplies.
