DISABLED SOLDIERS.
EXEMPTION OF EARNINGS.
(To the Editor.}
Returned soldier*' associations throng,, the Dominion should consider the comment f Major J. R. Kirk, M.8.E.. that disabled meg have the wrong outlook. He savs that if **■— men knew better than they apparently & they would be allowed. deduction. * earn something, which prompt* me to refer Major Kirk to" the War Veterans' Allowance Act, which allows a maximum exemption*! .t::;0 per annum, whereas invalids (and goal luck to them) can receive up to £104%*! annum, without any deduction i n their pen. sions. It appears to me that a disabled •oldirr should at the least receive the same treatment as a disabled civilian. c. SCOTT
