DECISION IN WELLINGTON.

WELLINGTON", this day
By 112 votes to three, a special meeting of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Educational Institute carried a motion to abide by the policy of the institute on the extension of "religious exercises in schools. The institute's policy is that it is desirable that religious instruction in schools should be limited to the Nelson system. There was an attendance of 115 members from 38 out of the 51 schools fi the Wellington branch.
