TEN MILLION ACRES OF RUSSIA.
The Russian Government treats the rural lands question in two different ways.
There are State farms, where agricultural workers are directly employed by the State. There are also collective farmers, worked on the cooperative principle by bodies of peasants.
In recent month* over ten million acres of land has been transferred by the Russian Government to the peasantry in this ' way, and the aggregate under co-operative peuant care is now vast.
