WOMAN'S LIABILITIES.
As executor in the estate of Mrs. A. M. Shaw (deceased), the Public Trustee, represented by Mr. E. Inder, in the Supreme Court yesterday applied to have Dorothy Baker, matrimonial agent, adjudicated a bankrupt. * Mr. C. Snedden, who appeared for the debtor, asked for an adjournment on the ground that the petitioning creditor, having died, the Court could not deal with the matter until probate was granted to the Public Trustee as executor of Mrs. Shaw's estate. Mr. Inder quoted authorities to show that the Court at present could grant the petition. His Honor said that, subject to the proof of the granting of probate being produced, an order would be granted.
