The City Rovers seniors at Tokaanu on Saturday'beat the district representatives by 3."> —25, in what was regarded as an historic match, this being the first visit by a team of any code to tlie township on the south side of Lake Tatipo. Tlie visitors were treated with lavish hospitality. Affairs of Referees. At the meeting of the Auckland RugbyLeague Referees' Association last evening it was decided to invite a deputation from the schoolboys' management to discuss arrangements to cope- with the developments in this phase of the game.
