CLUB ACTIVITIES.
| A splendid programme, arranged by l Mrs. D. M. McDonald, was given at the ! Xew Women's Chili rooms recently. Those taking part were: Mrs. H. McGregor and Mr. Peter Black ; (pianoforte duets). Mrs. K. Kandon (vocal solos). Mrs. 1). Dixon (unusual ."combination of voice and violin solos). . inf roducing her items, some of which | were her own compo-'it ions, with ex- [ planatory remarks; Mrs. Bell-Booth (vocal solos*. The accompanists were ! Mr*. 11. McGregor and Mi*s Bigelow. The final item was a short play, "Villa ( For Sale," produced by Mrs. Reta , MacCnllav Stone, those taking part l.«-ing Me-dame* J. W. Kealy. V. Clay, 1). M. McDonald. G. Dyson. B. Forrest. The physical education held its class in the morning. A great deal of interest was shown in the first flower show of the newly-formed gardening circle, of ! which Mrs. Mcllwraith is the convener. | Mr. Downs acted as judge, and the winning blooms were awarded points. [ The show will be held each month, and the exhibitor who obtains the highest , ' aggregate of points at the end of the . year will be the winner. Mrs. W. B. - Darlow presided, 'i • • • • " i Once again the Everybody's Club held : a friendly and happy social evening. A programme of games, competitions and dancing was arranged by the president. Mrs. 1"). (irier. and items were given by Mr. Robinson and I'attie Lind. The 1 prizewinners for games were Misses L " Flora McKenzie, P. Lind and Hangar, • and Mesdames Chaplin, McKenzie. Bird and Everson, while Mr. and Mrs. Bird ' won the Monte Carlo. Mr. C. Everson ' was master of ceremonies, and Miss MeAneaney pianist.
