FALL UNDER TRAIN.
WOMAN'S X.ITCK.Y ESCAPE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, this day. Missing her footing when attempting to board the Auckland train at the Morrinsville station on Saturday evening, a young woman, Miss D. Barton, of Morrinsville, had a fortunate escape from serious injury. When she fell under the carriage she s was caught by a companion, and the guard flashed a danger signal to the engine crew, the train being pulled up within a few yards. Miss Barton, who suffered bruises and shock, was admitted to a private hospital.
