GAY REVEL HELD.

The Amateur Operatic Society's Hall was the scene on Saturday night of e gay Philistine Eevel. The guests were received by the chairman, Mr. H. T. King and Mrs. King, the latter in a frock of black romaine, relieved . with Chinese red. A -musical programme was arranged, including violin solos by Mr. Vincent Aspey, humorous items by Mr. Alan McElwain, and songs by Miss Winifred Hill, Mr. Geoff Laird and Mr. Leslie Russell.
