LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
JUNIOR MANAGEMENT. At the .meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby League last evening, Mr. D. Wilkie presiding, a motion of condolence with Mr. C. Howe, a member of the executive, on the death of his mother, was carried in the usual manner. The sixth and seventh grade championships are to be played in three rounds, the third in the seventh grade to be for the Walmsley miniature shield. The Gleuora Club request for a senior match at Glen Eden was referred to the senior board. In regard to the third grade match between North Shore and Newton, it was decided to inform Newton that as the team was not in a section, no championship points could be allowed, and, in any case, the Newton team was not in order. It was resolved to advise Manukau that neither its senior B nor third grade teams were in order. The North Shore and Ellerslie fifth teams lost a match for the same rea?c .
