DUNEDIN CLASSICS.
PRIZE MONEY ALLOCATED. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. The Dunedin Jockey Club has decided to give the following stakes for classic races:—McLean Stakes, £300; Champagne Stakes, £350, and Dunedin Guineas, £350, entries to close on June 11. Regarding the 7.7 minimum the club favours'.the same and considers that should 7:7 be approved apprentice allow-, ance should be allowed on the minimum weight. In reply to the Racing Conference :t was decided the club can Dot at present see its way to run its own totalisator.
