MUTTON MARKET WEAK,
IMPROVEMENT IN LAMBS,
The Bank of New Zealand hag received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business this week:—Wethers: There is a weaker tendency. Ewes: Weaker values are ruling owing to lack of demand. Lambs: Demand is improving; prices are practically unchanged. | Trade is brighter with a better demand. Wethers, light 4%d to 5%d per lb, heavy 4d to 4%:; ewes, 3%d to 4%d; lambs, twos 6%d to 7%d, eights 6%d to 6%d, fours 6ttd to 6%d, seconds 6%d to 7d.
