JUNIOR MANAGEMENT
MANY NEW REGISTRATIONS
At the meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby League la#t evening, Mr. D. Wilkie pre*iding, a letter wae' received from the Northeote Club enclosing a request that a •etfior match be played in the suburb in aid of the King George V. Memorial Fund -On the municipal ground, which would be free of charge for the occasion. The application wa* referred to the Control Board. A eurvey of the grades, with suggested alteration in weight*, was submitted by Mr. Ivan Stonex, who said it seemed that the seventh grade requirements were now being catered for by the schools. The matter is to be fully diecuseed later in the season. ' , . Twenty-two transfers, several involving regrade, were approved, and 108 new player registrations were reported by the secretary, Mr. W. F. Clarke. For field misdemeanours a senior B player t.nd a fourth grade player were each *u*pended for one Saturday, and one ease was held over until the player appears.
