FRONTIER CROSSED. BASLE, April 28. Swiss artillery fired blank shots as a warning when the German airship Graf Zeppelin flew low over the Swiss frontier. The Zeppelin immediately withdrew to Germany. Brook has abandoned his attempt -oil Mrs. Amy Mollison's solo record to the Cape, following damage to a wheel of his machine in a crash during a storm north of Juba. He will fly on to South Africa and, after repairs to his 'plane there, will attack Mrs. Mollison's solo return record.

Mr. H. F. Broadbent, who left Darwin at 6.45 p.m. yesterday on the first stage of his attempt to lower Mr. H. L. Brook's solo record from Australia to England, arrived at Singapore this morning.
