CATHEDRAL CHAPTER.
I REPRESENTATION CHANGED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this dav. Objection was voiced at the annual meeting of parishioners of St. Peter's Cathedral last night to a suggestion that the chapter should consist entirelv of town members, and not of seven from , Hamilton and three from the country districts, as previously. < 'T don't like to say it, but vou don't seem to appreciate mv work for the cathedral in the past, though the bishop does." said Mr. H. Ir,nes-Jones to Dean T. P. Weatlierliojj. who presided. Mr Innes-.Tones pointed out that the country districts would have no voice if the change were made. The dean admitted this, but said the suggestion was designed purely for the better management of the "cathedral business. A motion approving the change in the chapter representation was carried bv a large majority.
