' MONOWAI BERTHED.

WORK OF RECOMMISSIONING. BRISBANE MARU FOR JAPAN. WAXGAXELLA SAILS TO MORROW. The Union Company's steamer Monowai, which has been at anchor off Hobeon's Bay for nearly twelve months, picked up her two anchors at 11 a.m. to-day and berthed at the Western wharf. She will be recommissioned during the next four weeks by a small army of artisans, and will be docked for cleaning and painting, after which she will leave for Sydney to take up the Aorangi's run to Vancouver, leaving Sydney for Auckland 011 June 10. The Monowai is a steam turbine driven vessel of 10,8.52 gross and 4925 net tonnage. She was built in 1925 by Harland and Wolff at Greenock for the P. and O. Company and known as Razmak, being employed on the Aden to Bombay run. ! Her length is oOOft and beam 03ft. The Brisbane Maru arrived from Napier at noon to-day for final loading for China and Japan, and will sail at noon tomorrow.
