Manawatu wrote asking for a team to visit Palmerston North for a Xew Zealand Shield match on June 19, but the matter was held over pending the closing of entries. • Lower grade teams for this season number: —Second grade, 12; third grade, 10; fourth grade, 10; fifth grade, 8; sixth grade 11. A request was received from Wbakatane Sub-Association for u club to visit Whakatane. It was decided that the Kowhal Junior High .School should In; made a section in the primary schools' competition.
