How to Make a Cut-Out Picture
Twenty-four Prizes for the Best Efforts
Here is a simple littfe competition that will help our readers to spend a pleasant half-hour. Cut out the figures and object? in the smaller sketch and paste them on the scene below. Arrange them so as to get the most pleasant and natural effect. There is no special solution, and Jo not hesitate to make one figure overlap another if you think that it wculd look better thus. The twenty-four prizes will go to the entrants who send in the most effective pictures. Six prizes must be awarded to competitors under twelve years of age.
Send your entries to PF.TER PAN. "STAR" OFFICE', SHORTLAND STREET, AUCKLAND, CI. Entries from town readers should leach this office by Saturday, April 17, and Monday. April 19, for country readers. The results will be published on Wednesday, April 21. Each winner may select his or her reward from the prizes offered in die list below:— Four Set*, containing 12 sheeta, of Tranafer Picturea, Folding Pocket Scisaora, Gift Boxea of Flowerperfumed Soap, Shirley Temple Booka, Boxea of Coloured Picture Blocka, "Star" Special R.O.G. Monoplane Kitaet, Double-decker Pencil Caaes, Boomerang Mouth Organa, Stationery Seta, Propelling Pencils, Penkpivea. "Adventurea of Mickey Mouae" (in colour, for little onea). Painting Books, Story Booka (for the little ones), Box of 100 Marble* in Ten Asaorted Coloura, Seta of Draughta and Compact Pocket Toothbruah.
