mn STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR
SEARCH FOR A COW.

HOKITIKA, this day.
Following a search for a cow which caused damage to a car last night and disappeared into a swamp off Fitzherbert Street, Mr. Albert Simms, aged 32, unmarried, a Public Works employee of Harihari, was struck by another car driven by Mr. James Alfred Andrews, a butcher, of Hokitika.
Mr. Simms was seriously injured and died in the Westland Hospital four hours later.
