Mr. C. H. Burnett, M.P. for Tauranga, is at the Royal Hotel. Mr. A. G. Osborne, MP. for Manukau, returned to Auckland this morning bv train from Wellington. The Hon. F. E. Lark, M.L.C, will leave by the Limited to-night for Wellington. Mr. Stanley S. Scott, managing director of Berlei (X.Z.), Limited, has returned to Auckland from a short business visit to the South Island. Mr. J. Fletcher and Mr. E. H. Rhodes, directors Fletcher Construction Company. Limited, will leave to-night by the Limited for Wellington. Mr. W. J. Roger*, president of the Xew Zealand Fruit Growers' Federation, will leave by the Limited to-night for Wellington. Mr. Mark Death, secretary of the housing department of the Fletcher Construction Company, Limited, returned to Auckland this morning by the express from Wellington. Mr. W. Harcourt Coleman, formerly of Devonport, now of the Royal Air Force, stationed at Rochester, has been posted by the Air Ministry to a Royal Air Force flying depot. Mr. Sydney Lefeaux, of Surrey. EngI land, a brother of Mr. Leslie Lefeaux. governor of the Reserve Bank of Xew ! Zealand, is at Hotel Cargen. He is I accompanied by Mrs. Lefeaux.

Mr. G. T. Wilson, transportation superintendent of the New Zealand Railways, who has been in Auckland for the past two days, left by the afternoon express on his return to Wellington.

Mr. T. F. McMullen, manager of the Union Bank of Australia in Auckland, has been appointed manager in Perth. His successor will be Mr. W. Morison, manager at Dnnedin. who will arrive in Auckland on Saturday. Mr. McMullen will leave for Australia by the Aorangi on April 5.

Professor T. Hytten, economic adviser to the head office of the Bank of New South Wales, Sydney, will leave Auckland by the Nv*gara this evening. He will visit the United States and Great Britain and will attend the congress of the International Chambers of Commerce in Berlin.
