LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

MOUNT ALBERT CJ.UB. In its ninth annual report, to be pre--1 sented at the meeting to-morrow evening, » the Mount Albert League Football Club ; records a successful ; year, with over 140 plajers distributed in the senior, senior reserve, second, third and fourth grades, and in the senior, intermediate and seven-a-side competitions of the Auckland Rugby League. The senior reserves had the honour of winning the club's first championship. A progressive step, with the assistance of the Mount Albeit Borough Council, was the erection of an up-to-date dressing shed at the Fowlds Park ; training ground, the floodlighting of I which enabled all teams to train to ' adjutage. Richards, M.P., for the most conscientious player in any grade, went to L. Slattery, of the second team. Mr. H. Cottrell s medal for most improved senior was won by J. Sehultz, Mrs. Parvin s medal for most consistent reserve player went to E. Dunne, and Mrs. Han lon a medal for the best all-rounder in the seconds to J, Patterson. A Sum.ch won the cup given for the best schoolboy, .-\fter reviewing all teams and thanking various coaches and supporters, the report congratulated Seath, Langford and Morrison on gaining representative senior schoolboyhonours, and Lakey for a similar distinction amongst the midget seven-a-side players. The club is in a sound financial position with a credit balance of £102 5/.
