DEEP-SEA FISHING.
Ninety-three game fish have been weighed at Otehei Bay this eeaeon. Twenty-six of these have averaged 4161b. Mr. Hutton, of England, who spent a month fishing from the deep-sea angling q*mp,. landed over 2i tons of big fish. Other successful anglers were Captain Sherran, of England, with a black marlin of 6231b and a striped marlin of 404 lb, besides smaller fish, and Mr. Chas. Stewart, of Australia, who landed ten &eh of a total weight of 25971b, Mrs. Ashby Dodd is leading for the Carrie Fin Cup for the heaviest fish caught by a lady angler with a mako of 473 Kb.
