CORONER'S VERDICTS.
DEATH OF HUKATERE WOMAN
MOTOR ACCIDENT VICTIM.
An open verdict was returned by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, this morning in the inquiry into the death of Isobel Burrows, a married woman, aged 47, of Hukatere, who died in the Auckland hospital as the result of injuries received on April 24 in a motor accident at the corner of the Great South Road and East Tamaki Road. It was stated in evidence that the driver of the car in which she was a passenger had been acquitted in the Supreme Court earlier in the month on a charge, of negligent driving so as to cause death.
