Cut Off By Avalanche on French Frontier. RESCUE BY ALPINE TROOPS. (Received 1.30 p.m.) PARIS, February 24. A message from Grenoble states that French Alpine troops started to make a tunnel two miles through snow in order to rescue the Minister of Air, M. Cot, thg Under-Secretary of the Physical Education Department, M. La Grange, and six members of the Chamber of Deputies, who were cut off by avalanches in a mountain village near the Italian frontier.
