CRICKETER LOSES ARM.
Injuries involving the lose of hi* rijrht arm were suffered by J. Scholium, the wellknown Gieborne cricketer, when a motor car he was driving came into collision with a lorry driven by Mr. A. Simpson near Okitu. Mr. Scholium was driving his brother, Mr. R. Scholium, proprietor of the Tatapouri Hotel, out to his home when the collision occurred. One wheel was torn off the car. which came to rest on its side in a ditch. The passenger in the car was not hurt. The lorry wae extensively damaged, but the driver and a passenger. Mr. A. Bartip. escaped injury. Mr. Scholium was admitted to hospital.
